Who we are
Naad is operated by Rali Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what Naad stores and how it is handled.
What Naad is
Naad is a personal practice tracker for Sikh life. It helps you keep your own rhythm across Naam, Kirat and Vand. You choose what to track and set your own goals.
What we store
The practice you record — wake times, Nitnem, Simran, sewa, Dasvandh and the journal items you enable — is stored on your device and backed up to your account on our servers, so it is safe and available across your devices. We also store the light profile you provide during setup, such as how you read the banis and any skills you choose to share.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers over your practice. Within a Sangat, co-members see aggregate practice and — if you opt in — your name on today’s boards. They never see your wake times or full practice log.
Your account
An account is required so your practice can be saved and synced. You sign in with an email address, and we store only what is needed to run your account.
Permissions
Notifications and Apple Health access are requested only when a specific feature needs them, never bundled up front. Health sleep data, when you enable it, fills an unmarked rise time you can Adjust; it is not shared.
Closing your account
You can permanently close your account from within the app, or request deletion at naad.life/delete. Once closed, your account cannot be recovered or signed back into, and you would set up a new account to return. We may retain limited records afterwards where required for legal, security or operational reasons; these are not used to rebuild your account.
